Hedge apples grow in Texas. These inedible fruits grow on the osage orange tree. They are heavy and hard.

I think that I'm writing in the correct place, these over 40 eyes, or I should say over 50 eyes now....LOL.... and the black background, oh well the joys of getting old.....LOL..... the picture is great , and I've learned something, now that's got to be alright :)

Looks like some kind of brain ... in lime green! I'm from TX but have never seen or heard of this inedible fruit. Very nice to know!
